My friends and I had a blast at my Sew and Sip birthday event. Most of the ladies had not sewn anything since middle school home economics class. Each attendee had so much fun and felt accomplished by being able to go home with a finished handmade project. All the materials were provided and we felt right at home to serve the snacks we brought for our celebration. When I started to feel discouraged that my sports jacket could never be serviced, uptown stitches brought back my hope. I truly appreciate this place for their variety of services. They were able to cover up embroidery with a very similar fabric as my jacket. I wanted to add a new patch on it and they had no problem sewing that on. Whether it’s routine fittings or requests you are doubtful about, do not be afraid to give this place a call and simply ask if they can do it. I am very happy to have found this place.

Great experience, at the last minute they worked really hard to make everything perfect and make sure we had our dress for the wedding! It’s the little extra that goes along way and that’s what separates businesses, and this shows that they care! My dress was 7 layers, it was not an easy task and they really came through on the alterations! Thank you!
