Our Focus: Sewing, Art, Fashion and Design
At Uptown Stitch, we believe design comes in many forms — from fashion to art to sewing.
• Fashion Design: Design stretches across many fields — whether it’s building a house, styling a space, or creating fashion. In our studio, we focus on the fashion side, helping ideas take shape with fabric, thread, and imagination.
• Art & Creativity: Art naturally connects with fashion design. Every stitch, sketch, or idea starts with creativity and grows into something unique.
• Crafts & Imagination: Crafting is also part of design. Even when it isn’t hand-sewing, the process of imagining something and bringing it to life is a form of art and design.
We encourage kids (and adults too!) to picture their ideas and let us help you transform them into real projects.
